On April 29th 2023, Professor Gabe and Professor Greg traveled outside of the US for the very first time in their lives. Gabe was set to compete at the IBJJF International Masters Europe that was held in Barcelona Spain. Gabe had a very tough semifinals match that ended in a score of 0-0 and due to very strategic coaching from Greg, Professor Gabe was able to secure a refs decision over an extremely tough opponent. In the finals, Professor Gabe lost to former adult World Champion Bernardo Pitel. The final score of the finals was 5-0 earning Gabe a silver medal.
